How We Engrave Glass
Glass requires a specialist approach. We use the wet paper technique — a damp mask is applied to the glass surface before engraving. This absorbs heat evenly, preventing micro-fractures and producing a smooth, consistent frosted finish. Laser power is reduced to 20–40% of standard settings and the scan speed is increased to minimise thermal stress. The result: perfect clarity, no chips, fully functional glassware.
